The 2022 Jeep Cherokee retained all of its earlier engine options.  At the base Laredo, it installs a 2.4-liter Inline-4 engine making 180 hp and 171 lb.-ft of torque, at the next higher trim Latitude Lux, Jeep allows the buyers to choose from two power variants, one being the 2.0L Turbo Inline-4 engine that hurls 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft of torque and the other 271 horsepower making 3.2-liter naturally aspirated V6 one which also produces 239 lb.-ft of torque.
